Tour Program

Reaching to Harbour

Departure point for White Tenerife catamarans are Puerto Colón docks 6 and 8. You can leave your cars to the port or just next to the port to the paid parking areas.

It’s recommended to reach to the port half an hour prior to the departure. Also consider time spent to find a parking spot.

Public transport is avaliable from anywhere from South of the island. You also can take a taxi to reach the port.

Welcome Aboard

Boat crew will greet you with a smile and be sure that you feel right at home. During the day they will inform you about whale & dolphins, their food, travel and gender roles. If you have any questions, they will be happy to answer.

Catamarans are comfortable with ample space dedicated to each customer. You can choose your preferred spot. There are shaded areas and sunbathing spaces. Seating is first-come – first-served basis so arriving early is always better if you are looking for specific place.

Whale & Dolphin Watching and Listening

Whale and dolphin watching takes place in the Teno-Rasca Marine Strip, located in the western part of Tenerife.

It is possible to spot over 21 different species of whales and dolphins. Most common ones are tropical Calderon, short-finned Pilot Whales, turtles, Atlantic dolphins and Bottlenose Dolphins.

There are no guarantees of spotting them but it’s only around 3-5 trips a year when whales or dolphins aren’t observed in their natural habitat.

White Paradise is a member of WCA World Cetacean Alliance. An organization to protect whales, dolphins and porpoises worldwide. Boats have the blue flag and crew members are doing their best to protect marine life.

This tour is eco-friendly and sustainable, prioritizing the welfare of the animals. Catamaran engines are stopped when dolphins or whales are spotted, allowing you to hear their whispers by underwater sound transmitter system to the upper deck.

Swimming Break

In the day there will be a 30-minute swim and snorkel break. On 3-hour tour, swim break is at Diego Hernandez beach, and on 5 or 6-hour tour, it’s at crystal clear waters of Masca Beach.

Goggles are available so you can see the fish you are swimming with. Access to the sea is easy from the ladders located behind the catamaran.

Depending on wind conditions, boat captain may choose another spot to give you better experience.

Return

During the tour, you can enjoy panoramic views of La Gomera island, coastal towns in South Tenerife, and on clear days – majestic Teide mountain.

If you join the 5 or 6-hour tour, you’ll also see Cliffs of Los Gigantes and beautiful village of Masca.

Upon completion of the tour, you will return to Puerto Colón, the same port from which you departed.
