Bodrum Boat Trip Itinerary

You will be picked up from your Bodrum hotel by air conditioned, comfortable transport and taken down to the harbour where your boat and Captain are waiting to welcome you aboard.  When everyone has arrived and anchors are raised you begin your gentle Aegean cruise for the day.

You will make several stops for swimming, snorkelling or sight seeing with your first stop of ‘Kara Ada’.  In English it is known as Black Island, famed for its thermal springs and being the largest island off the coast of Bodrum.  For a small fee you can swim in the thermal waters, said to have healing properties.  At around 32 degrees centigrade the water is warmer than the sea.  The spa waters are made up of Sulphur, Calcium and Magnesium, each having properties to assist in skin or breathing conditions.

After you have stopped to enjoy Black Island, a lunch will be served on board the sun deck of your boat.  Lunch is usually grilled chicken, salad and pasta, served with the delicious fresh bread of the area.

After lunch you head to Rabbit Island, for swimming and snorkelling, and usually a glimpse of a rabbit or two.  They are normally fed the scraps from the buffet lunch and are conditioned to seeing the tour boats arrive with their afternoon meal.  Many of them head for the beach when they see the boats for this reason and it can be magical to watch the rocks suddenly come alive with the hungry rabbits of every shade and size.

Your last stop of the day will be Camel Beach.  Where, you guessed it, you will be able to take a camel ride, for a small fee of course.

As the afternoon has passed so quickly it will soon be time to head back to Bodrum and to your transport waiting to take you back to your hotel in the resort, relaxed and happy with the gentle sway of the boat  lulling you into an easy sleep once you get back.
