Alanya City Tour From Side

  Last Updated: July 2, 2024

Alanya city tour from Side is a day trip with cable car or boat trip options (or both) and a visit to Damlatash Cave & Cleopatra Beach.

We leave for another jewel of the Mediterranean coast, Alanya, a beautiful city rich in history. Our bus will pick you up in the morning from your hotel and take you along the coast to Alanya, where a ship will be waiting for you. You will have 1 hour boat trip and sail along the coast of Alanya. The magnificent scenery, the waves breaking on the rocks with lush plants, the golden beaches, the white seagulls soaring over all this beauty will overwhelm you.

On the Dim River, you will have lunch in one of the local restaurants. Then a Turkish bazaar awaits you, after which you will have free time (about 2 hours) to go shopping or simply walk the streets of the old town. The tour also includes visits to Alanya Castle, Cleopatra Beach and Damlatas Cave.

We have three options for you to choose from on this tour:

– Alanya city tour with a boat trip.

– Alanya city tour with cable car.

– (Combo Tour) Alanya city tour with boat trip and cable car.

These tours are charged at different prices, please let us know which of the three you are interested in when making your reservation. Both transfers (from and to the hotel), lunch and English speaking guide are included in the price of the tour. We recommend booking it in advance.

One of the loveliest resorts on the Mediterranean coastline is the city of Alanya, with its ancient history and geological marvels.  You can take a city tour from your Side resort and explore, with the help of a professional, multi lingual guide, these delights for yourself.  With amazing views from the cable car and 13th century Alanya Castle, this is a photographer’s dream. Cleopatra’s Beach, a stretch of golden sand where the famous queen once allegedly stood, holds the blue Mediterranean sea at bay from the surprisingly emerald green shoreline.

The ‘Dripstone Cave’ is situated near to Alanya and is well worth a visit with its impressive stalactites that seem to reach down from above.  You will feel most humble at the cave when you experience the geological history of the Earth surrounding you.  The whole area is dotted with caves and underground caverns and lakes and for anyone with an interest, Alanya makes a great day out.

The castle at Alanya was built in the 13th century by the Seljuk Emperor Alaaddin Keykubat, this medieval wonder stands sentinel over the city of Alanya and offers you yet more amazing photo opportunities.

This is Alanya, sitting in the Anatolian sunshine, visited by millions during the course of the seasons.
