Manavgat Boat Trip From Side

  Last Updated: July 2, 2024

Did you know that just five kilometres from Side there is another town, Manavgat? We go there in Manavgat boat trip from Side.

In the morning we take a comfortable bus to Manavgat port, where a ship will be waiting for us. The boat will take us down the river. First we visit Cleopatra beach with golden sand. Another amazing thing that we see on the tour is the place where the Manavgat River flows into the Mediterranean. Swimming there is something special as you will be able to feel the difference between the cool emerald river water and the warm azure sea water.

We will be back on the boat that will take us upriver to the centre of Manavgat. The cook will prepare a nice lunch for us. We will enjoy our meal and take a walk to Manavgat, visit the historical sites and the famous bazaar. Our next stop is a large waterfall on the Manavgat River. It is about 40 m wide.

We’ll return to the hotel in the evening with lots of photos, good impressions and perhaps some lucky bargains.

No hidden extras, both transfers, ticket to the waterfall, boat trip and lunch are all included in the price of the tour.

The best introduction to the Manavgat river is by yacht.  In a tour that incorporates swimming in the river delta as well as the sea, with a gentle tour that takes you to trout and turtle breeding farms, as well as the stunning Manavgat waterfalls.

The waterfalls of Manavgat are not particularly high but spread along the wide river, cascading into the depths at a high speed.  Here you will have stunning views of the falls as they turn from dark blue to the white foamy waters below.

With free time to explore the traditional Manavgat Bazaar, this tour offers so much more than its counterparts.  You will be able to brwose the market stalls and all their exotic wares from spices to silks.  With an extensive range of leather bags belts and clothes, you are sure to find a bargain or two!

If you have never been to the lovely region of Manavgat before, then you are in for a treat.  One of the most naturally beautiful regions surrounding Antalya, a timely reminder of the natural beauty of Turkey, and all within a short distance of Side.
