The Fire of Anatolia dance show is a dance performance by a professional dance group that is famed throughout Turkey and even the world. It consists of a group of over 100 performers all professionally trained to perform a spectacular that will leave you with a passion for the country and its traditions. Similarly to the Lords of the Dance group that is popular on the British Isles they perform local dances and provide an excellent night of entertainment.
These are not your average dance group as members have been trained by the national ballet and are at the pinnacle of their careers. You are sure to be amazed at their intricate footwork and the speed at which they move will leave you mesmerised. In fact, the group hold a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as they performed a staggering 241 steps per minute. The group was formed in 2001 and has grown to become one of the most breathtaking companies in the world.
The group currently perform two days per week alternating their shows between the Evolution and Troy performances. At one of their performance you will be treated to not only a dynamic dance group but the whole show, from the lighting to the costumes you will be enthralled by the action on stage and likely want to come back for more. The show starts promptly at 21:15 on both Tuesdays and Fridays. On Tuesdays you can experience the show entitled ‘Evolution’ and ‘Troy’ is performed on Fridays. You will be met in front of your accommodation by your transfer driver at approximately 20:00 so that you can arrive at the stunning venue in plenty of time to take your priority seats.
Once at the venue you will take your seats in the stunning purpose built Gloria Aspendos Arena, an arena which adds to the authentic atmosphere of the evening. The arena is actually an open air amphitheatre with seats for 5,000 spectators and a large central stage. There are also restaurant and bar facilities at the arena.
The show lasts around 2 hours and after you have spent a glorious evening, experiencing the sights and sounds of this exceptional group, your transfer bus and driver will be waiting to take you back to your accommodation in Manavgat truly happy and content.
